The program was launched in 2021 on the onset of loss of employment due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and consequent Lockdown. The program is an extension of the Swavalamban –Livelihood Program wherein marginalized families who cannot afford the loan can start working towards becoming financially independent. The program is not just limited to nomads but will also extend our support to the most marginalized section of society. So far, we could help more than 14 families though Tool Support to restore their livelihoods.
The Pedal Rickshaws, Sugarcane Juice Shop, Trolley of Plastic Toys, Cutlery items, Toran and Wristwatch, Sewing Machine, Dress Material (Fabric), and Provision Store Items have been provided as a tool support to the beneficiaries spread across two districts of Gujarat.
