Mr. Manish Shah currently serves as the Executive Chairman of the Kingsway Group of Companies located in Nairobi, Kenya.

The Kingsway Group of Companies commenced its operations in 1957 as a single entity specializing in tire sales. Over the span of 55 years, it has evolved into a conglomerate consisting of 38 affiliated companies, boasting an impressive annual turnover exceeding US$ 200 million.

The Kingsway Group of Companies engages in a wide-ranging array of sectors, including:

  • Kingsway Tyres Limited: Dedicated to the sale of newly imported tires, tire accessories, and tire re-trading.
  • The Village Market: A cutting-edge shopping and leisure complex situated in the heart of Nairobi, adjacent to key diplomatic missions such as the American Embassy, Canadian High Commission, and UN Headquarters.
  • Creative Innovations Ltd: Specializing in electrical lighting and fittings, furniture, and supplies for supermarkets.
  • Real Estates: Significantly invested in both residential and commercial properties throughout Kenya.
  • Tribe Hotel: A boutique hotel and hospitality group.
  • Trademark Hotel: An urban business hotel affiliated with Design Hotels.

Achievements:

  • In 2019, Mr. Manish Shah was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Philosophy from the United Graduate College and Seminary International, USA.
  • He served as the Chairman of the Mata Amritanandamayi Social organization in 2005.
  • In 1998, he held the position of Chairman of the Tae Kwondo Association of Kenya.
  • From 1979 to 1999, he was a Member of the Wildlife Society of Kenya.
  • His involvement extended to being a Member of YPO International from 1995 to 2006.
  • Additionally, Mr. Manish Shah is the Chairman and Trustee of the M.A. Math Charitable Trust Kenya, a non-profit organization. The trust oversees various projects aimed at assisting the less fortunate in Kenya, including initiatives such as:
    • The White C(r)ane Project, which aids the visually impaired.
    • Organizing Free Eye Cataract Camps.
    • Providing Free Meals to Slum Children.
    • Managing the Amrita Centre Primary Day School.
    • Offering Vocational and Technical Training.
    • Implementing the Amrita Sanitation Project.
