About

Shree Bidada Sarvodaya Trust is a charitable non-profit organization with a dedicated mission. Their commitment revolves around providing medical and surgical treatment to patients regardless of their age, caste, or race. The trust has gained recognition for its annual medical camp held every January in the village of Bidada, located in Kutch, India. This camp serves as a crucial healthcare initiative, drawing patients from over 1200 villages in the region, thus extending its reach to a wide and diverse population.

In the early 1980s, an 80-bed hospital was established in Bidada, a small village in Kutch. This hospital provided year-round medical services, including eye care, dental care, gynecological services, rehabilitation, naturopathic treatments, and more. Approximately 300 patients were examined at the clinic daily, and five to ten patients were admitted for surgery. The medical services offered to the people in the region were invaluable, as it was one of the only medical facilities of its caliber in the area. The organization subsidized the services to make them more accessible to visitors.
