Providing children from migrant families with access to quality education, safe learning environments, and opportunities for a brighter future.
Shiracha Hindi School, Mundra provides quality education to Hindi-speaking children from migrant families working at the Adani and Tata Power Plants. By creating a safe and supportive learning environment, the school helps children from economically vulnerable backgrounds access education and build brighter futures.
Impact and Progress of Our Work with Shiracha Hindi School in 2025:
Joy of Helping supports Shiracha Hindi School in strengthening educational opportunities for children from migrant labour families through improved infrastructure and learning facilities.
- With Joy of Helping’s support, the school expanded from two to three classrooms, enabling 100+ children to access quality education in a nurturing environment. The initiative has also encouraged greater enrolment, particularly among girls, ensuring more children remain in school.
- To further enhance the learning experience, support has been extended towards the development of a playground, staff salaries, and future initiatives including nutritious school meals, a dedicated school bus, and computer education.
- Through its partnership with Shiracha Hindi School, Joy of Helping continues to create inclusive learning environments that empower children from migrant families with the education, confidence, and opportunities needed to build a better future.
