Pediatric Eye Operation – Vision Assistant Students: Divyajyoti Trust operates eye hospital in rural tribal area of Surat , performing 12,000+ surgeries yearly with 70-80% free care.
There are almost 10 different clinical trials going on now.
The training center caters to the training needs of all cadres of eye care including Ophthalmologists and para medical workers. It offers a one-year certificate course for socioeconomically disadvantaged students in eye care. While 10+2 background is preferred, flexibility is given to needy students. The training includes theory and practical sessions, mentored by professionals. Placements are guaranteed for all enrolled students.
Joy of Helping sponsored 6-8 students annually, covering Rs. 50,000 per student, not only changing their lives but also their families’, lifting them from poverty to a better future.
