“Women belong in all places where decisions are being made.
It shouldn’t be that women are the exception.”

Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Our Causes

Women Empowerment

Our main goal is to enhance the overall well-being of tribal communities, particularly women, by strengthening them economically through self-help groups and income-generating initiatives.

Women’s empowerment in such Tribal Communities is crucial for various reasons:

  •  Gender Equality: It underpins the achievement of gender equality, ensuring equal rights, opportunities, and resources for all.
  • Economic Growth: Empowered women contribute significantly to economic growth when they have equal access to education and employment.
  • Social Justice: Empowerment fights gender-based discrimination and violence, fostering a more just society.
  • Health and Well-being: Access to education and healthcare through empowerment enhances overall well-being.
  • Sustainable Development: Empowered women play a vital role in addressing environmental challenges, reducing poverty, and advancing social justice.

In essence, women’s empowerment is pivotal for creating a fair, equitable, and sustainable world.

Women’s empowerment, especially in tribal communities encompasses granting women the authority to control their lives, and make choices, and decisions while ensuring they enjoy equal access to resources and opportunities.

It entails establishing a societal environment where women can actively engage in economic and social aspects on par with men, where their voices hold weight, and their rights are safeguarded. Women’s empowerment manifests in various facets, including education, economic independence, political participation, and social equality. Its ultimate goal is to forge a world where women possess the autonomy and liberty to lead their lives without gender-based discrimination or constraints.

Women’s Empowerment through Income-Generating Projects:

Our primary goal is to enhance the overall well-being of tribal communities, particularly women, by strengthening them economically through self-help groups and income-generating initiatives. Empowering women in this way not only fosters self-sufficiency but also safeguards them from exploitation.

This objective revolves around promoting self-reliance and financial independence among tribal people, enabling them to break free from the cycle of debt and the need for temporary migration to urban areas for livelihood opportunities.

To achieve this goal, we implement various schemes, including the formation of cooperative societies.

These societies engage in activities such as bamboo craft production, weaving, and the manufacture of food products like Nachni Khichiya and Karamda Jam. Additionally, we support the collection of jungle products like gum, Mahuva, Sitafal, and medicinal seeds like Kuvadia. Through these initiatives, we empower women and uplift tribal communities economically.
